Berman Rosetti
Nick Berman was asked in 1987 to create a collection for Mimi London. His friend and now partner Gennaro Rosetti had built many of the pieces Nick had created for his design projects and asked him to partner with him on what would be the beginning of a 32 year venture! They have had an excellent run and what started out as an avocation has become a successful company represented in 14 showrooms across the United States and Canada.
Though the collection is over 25 years old they still have the same passion for furniture and a commitment to its excellence.
When asked how they would describe their pieces? Some are very spare and elegant while others are more primitive and sensual. The disparity between this rustic simplicity and refined elegance creates the interest in the collection and gives it its identity. Though our furniture is modern by token of its simplicity it still manages to have an inherent warmth. Each year we evaluate our strengths and weaknesses and try to distill the collection to a higher standard based on the DNA we have created.
We have always been an incredibly prolific team. Having our own factory in Los Angeles really allows us the freedom to experiment on new designs. Because we have control over our own product we can do custom extrapolations for which designers have come to depend on.
